It’s great to meet you! I’m Anne, and I’ve been a work from home mum for over 10 years now. Believe it or not, for all 10 of those years, I’ve worked with my husband – and yes, we’re still together! We started our own small graphic design agency a few months after my daughter was born, and business was going well until about 2 years ago (ring any bells??). Our biggest client took their work in-house, and with it 60% of our turnover. The remaining 40% dwindled as clients cut their advertising budgets, and prospects weren’t interested in spending money. Business went from bad to worse.

So, we started looking at other options. Remember, we both took a dive in earnings, and there was no steady income.  I even looked for a job – anyone else try that in the last two years? Yeah, right. So, home business ideas became my passion. I’ve been through a lot of ideas; some fascinating and some just downright funny, but thankfully, some with results. In fact, as a result of what I learnt in my internet marketing home business, we’ve changed the direction of the advertising business and that’s doing much better too. (I had to find something to keep hubby busy!)

I’m not a multi-millionaire, in fact I’m not a millionaire either, (not yet!)

Hi there!

but my successful home businesses have kept our heads above water and a roof over our heads during a recession which has seen so many businesses fold and families lose their homes. Everyday I see more progress, and more potential, and I’m excited to get up in the morning. I’m happy to sit at my computer until late at night, because I can see the results of the effort I’m putting in.

I share more than just a business with my husband! We have two kids, a son of 19 (almost 20), and a daughter of ten (who thinks she’s 30). I share my office with two cats who just don’t get that I can’t type with them on my lap, and we have a German Shepherd and a Labrador, who thankfully prefer my husband’s company. A full life?
